Who said slicks don't squeal?

by Darryl Johnso » Thu, 20 May 2004 01:10:19

I just starting playing with "the dark side" this past winter, and
I'm not having to fight anything more than boredom on the
superspeedways when there aren't enough cars/trucks to make traffic
interesting. So I certainly don't have 5-year's worth of practice in
NASCAR.

It *is* a different style of driving. But I can't see where anyone
who was respectable at one wouldn't be respectable at the other.
(Well, maybe someone used to speedways wouldn't do quite as well on a
road course in a GPL car... but you're going the other way.)

Hey, welcome back into the GPL fold!  ;)

(Seriously, you might want to try the 65 Mod. The Less Frustrating More
Fun type of serious sim racing. At least you can keep THEIR rear ends
tucked in if you make a tiny mistake...)

Opps, GPL is so old that I don't remember. Can't look it up either as I
don't have it installed anymore. Sorry.
