Hi All

I saw a post the other day for this, but for the life of me, I can't find it
now.  Does anyone have it?

Regards

You don't need a reg hack for that do you?  You can turn on/off vsync for OpenGL and/or Direct3d
right from the display properties advanced config screens.  All the drivers I've tried have that
option as well.

No, it is not a standard option to be able to do that.

There are several ways to do it.  Coolbits, and various other utilities are
out there to take care of it.

Some of these programs enable it in the standard preferences window, and
some of them you do it inside the utility itself.

This being hidden has something to do with WHQL certification.

On my card (Nvidia TNT2 M64), disabling vsync in Direct 3D is not a standard
option, and I have tried the various utilities (including coolbits) and they
either don't work or don't support my vid card.

My fault, I just realize I turn it on/off in nVMax, a great little utility that no nVidia chipset
user should be without.  I d/l'd it the day I installed my new card(1 week ago) so it can't be hard
to find.
