Hi all,

Have tried to install GPL on my newish Win98 machine a couple of times.
When I select 3D in the options menu (either Rendition or 3dFX), I get a
message saying the choice won't take effect until I restart the game.  When
I restart, it's still running in software mode.

What have I missed?

You need to download the D3D rasteriser from http://www.papy.com .  Nvidia
cards do not support Rendition or 3dfx hardware acceleration.

you need to download and install the GPL Direct3D Rasterizer from the
papyrus site. read the readme file and add a few lines to your
core.ini file located in your gpl folder.
