3d card with Jazzmm ET6000 card?

by Wingm » Tue, 18 Feb 1997 04:00:00

I have a Jazz G-Force 128 ET6000-based card.  Would I be able to couple it
with a 3d card, say a Rendition chipset, and use the 3D in games, but the
et6000 in windows?

Thanks...

The Rendition cards are 2d/3d combos, so you'd need to use a 3D add-on
card like the 3Dfx cards.  While these cards are excellent at 3D
(better than the Rendition cards), they will do nothing for Nascar2 or
ICR2.  Whether they are worth it our not (about $250 or so) is
dependent on your priorities.

Anyone who knows which car setups for the first Indycar racing game by
Papyrus, please let me know.  I don't have the time to experiment for
hours on end.  Any help would be appreciated.

Try "The Pits" at http://www.theuspits.com/
It has the best selection of ICR I and II cars sets that I know off and
it also has links to other loctions.

I just wish there were a Rendition daughter card I could plug onto my
Matrox Millenium. That is EXACTLY what I want!

Still dreaming,
