GPL Help: AI too fast at Monza...

by Mauro Dia » Sat, 01 Jan 2000 04:00:00

Some time ago I was lapping at monza, and I don't know why, I saw the time
1`29`` (!!!) ...obviously wrong...
Since then, the AI cars are incredibly fast (1:18.000 average). I read here
once that there's a setting (hype or something like that) to adjust the AI.
Can anyone help me to set the files to normal? I don't want to create a new
driver, cos' I don't want to lose my lap times.

Thanks,
Mauro

GO to the tracks folder in GPL, then open the Monza folder and find the file
record.ini. Open it with notepad and edit the line showing the time. It is
in seconds so a 1 minute 30 second lap will appear as 90.000. Yours will
probably read something like 1.29xxx. Change it to something more reasonable
and save.
