I never forgot a thing. I never told you were you can play it for
free. Just making sure you know there are other options available to
you if the old reflexes are not what they used to be.

ha ha, that's probably because you seem to have lost yours somewhere!
That's the problem with ras these days (as has been discussed elsewhere) too
many people are overly critical and grim about sims. There used to be a
sense of fun here, but it's disappearing rapidly. There is no sense of
optimism, no sense of looking at the positive side of releases, just hooking
onto one or two of the failings and not letting go.

Pessimists are realists, optimists are full of shit.

Well, you were wrong about my DOS background, you were wrong about when you
began computer ***, and you evidently don't understand that there are
several types of humor beyond not demarked with a slimy trail of emoticons,
hahas, and VBGs. As a matter of fact, it's quite common for some people to
think that they're covering their snide, condescending, holier-than-thou
remarks with such devices--not that I think for one minute that you'd stoop
to such.

Oh, and just in case you didn't catch it, there was humor in the previous
paragraph.  So you were wrong again.  :-)

Betcha caught the very last one, didn't you?  (Damn . . . more
humor--sometimes I just kill myself.)

> Sad really.

I just think it reflects the fact that games/sims have become "just
another product" in the home entertainment field. Initially games were
programmed by enthusiasts for enthusiasts. Now game houses are bought and
sold as commercial products themselves by companies looking for investment
and return.

That's not necessarily bad, it's just different. But like all mass-market
oriented products, quantity and quality are rarely found in the same place
at the same time. That doesn't mean you stop looking, it just means you
learn not to expect too much.

Learning is good :->

no, I was wrong about the release year of Revs. My computer *** start
long before then.  Remember Pole Position?

and here was me thinking the same thing of you.... oh well, it's that old
senility thing again I guess!
