Which of all the video cards currently on the market is best suited to play
GPL ( this taking in consideration the updated drivers available on their
Web Sites ). ?

The CHEAPEST, the Hercules. It's a rendition based card now hard to find I
think, but I have never been able to make the Diamond one's work while this one
is great.
Cost me about $75 which I believe is a very good deal !

I own both of the above cards and found that, as the popular opinion
goes, the Thriller is better for lower-spec machines whilst the V3 is
perhaps better on higher-end PC's.

I will say that I preferred the general image quality on the
Thriller....

I currently run a Hercules 3D Thriller with Diamond Voodoo2 SLI. CPU is a

Voodoo2's. I've been thinking about getting a TNT2 Ultra or even a new
GeForce 256 but I just can't part with the framerates I get in GPL. I put a
Voodoo3 3000 in my girlfriends computer and it kept crashing all the time
until I put a fan on the card. I also had to load up new drivers to fix
graphical errors. I loaded up GPL on hers and compared framerates. About the

Monster Fusion. It runs GPL pretty good. Not as good as the Herc or the
Voodoo3 (after you get it working). Hope this helps.
