N2003's physics aren't that difficult to drive IMO. On many tracks, it's
easy as hell to drive.

Dale Earnhardt J.  said on his web site that the truck physics in N2003 were
more like what the Cup cars feel like, so I'm not sure how realistic Cup
racing is in N2003. There is a big difference in how those two series feel
in the game.

Ahh, memories. I got all kinds of hell during development, and after the
release of RC. I made the mistake of praising RC (a title other than GPL was
all it took) in beta reports to ras.

No, they prefer multiplayer because basically, no sim ever has even gone
close to the "realism" of driving against a human being.  NR, NT, GPL,
whatever.  Some of them even test their own setups.  That's how good the
physics are.

Look, the driving model is far superior, but it's not flawless.  All those
real-life Nascar drivers approve.

Man stop being tick.  We aren't saying NT2004 is an arcade game, we're just
saying it's a bad simulator! ;-D

Bullshit...NT2004 has nothing better than NR2003...Name me one, except
it is easier for someone to drive who doesn't like to make their own
setups...sort of like you.  There is nothing more that NT2004 offers
that NR2003 doesn't, except maybe fender flares and a career season.
Who really cares about that?  Most true simmers don't.  Once again, I
have driven late model stock for years, and SCCA road course cars,
don't even think of telling me that NT2004 is more realistic, because
the cold hard truth is that it isn't.  But, I might as well beat my
head against the wall, because it would obviously be softer than your
damn head.

I am not a *** sim head but I play NR2003 and tried the NT2004
demo, and I thought NT2004 was better for playing against AI opponents
(I don't play online). NR2003's AI cars seem to want to actively make
you spin off the track, whereas NT2004 seems to get on with a fair
race. I also thought NT2004 was better sonically.

Sure, people like car racing simulations.  Is that a bad thing?  If so, why?
So why not call them racing *fans*?  And I would guess that everyone here is a
racing sim fan, including yourself.  Well, except for the trolls.  You're just
being purposefully antagonistic, similar to said troll.

Since when did this group become so PC? It's like calling someone a
"hockey nut", there is no malice meant in it. You just want to make an
issue out of it because you feel like being pissy towards me. Me no
care.

It didn't start out that way, but you lot make it too easy not to.

The fact is Slug...your username is perfect, and if you really thing
NT2004 is a "Sim" then your head is up your ***to far for daylight.
I am done beating my head against the wall that is obviously softer

Oh well, you can't help it if you are soft in the head. I don't like
to pick on the weak so will let you off the hook.

You are the weak one stupid.  Duh.. You even admitted you can't play
NT2004 without downloading setups, then you are either weak, stupid,
or just don't belong in this group.

Hey, *you're* the one that responded to a post of mine and made the comment
about racing kooks.  I don't see how you could expect that comment, in that
context, would *not* be taken as an insult.  I didn't think that was a cool
thing to do, and let you know about it.  But if you don't care, then there's no
rational discussion that can take place with you.

<yawn>
Whatever...  I see what kind of mentality we're dealing with here.  If you just
want to argue for the sake of arguing, go right ahead...

Ensoniq Mirage? Just buy an old Apple IIGS and download a nice music
program Eldred, it's basically the same sound hardware, same chip, same
design if I remember correctly  - great sound for its time BTW   :)
