Any word on game \ sim compatibility with XP? any beta testers out there?

My ol' P2 450 is starting to realty struggle in Nascar 4, so I'll probably
be getting something new within the next 6 months for WSC...

I plan on sticking with the operating system I get, since Microsoft says
upgrading from ME to XP won't work as well as a system starting out fresh
with the OS...

So if I go ahead and wait for XP, will I still be able to drive GPL?

GPL runs great on my XP system.

New OS's are ALWAYS buggy IMO. Drivers can also be a problem. Win 98SE
is still a winner for me personally.

A friend has Windows XP Release Candidate1 (RC2 will be out in a day or so),
and says that GPL 1.2 runs fine, as does Vroc, his LWFF and CH Pedals. Said
that there are tons of drivers included, and that the only driver he had to
install was the D3D patch for GPL.  I am signed up to get it in a week or
so.

Actually, it is pretty good news.

  What video card does your friend have, and what card do you have?  We have
seen posts here that 3dfx is no-go with XP.

3dfx is no-go in Glide with XP. D3D works.
