Cyrix-Rendition joystick problem

I was just wondering if the Cyrix-Rendition problem with the joystick
has been fixed or addressed yet?  I am thinking of getting a Rendition
based card, but am holding off pending this problem.  (The problem
being the irratic joystick behavior with Cyrix-Rendition
combinations.)

Not to my knowledge has it been 'fixed'.

The Rendition card works fine with my T2 and Cyrix P166+ as long as I am
using Indysafe or Nasrend. It is only with the DMA version that I have
any problems with the controller. Ofcourse like everyone else (I guess)
Indyfast doesn't run at all for me.

Good Luck,
Alan

I don't know if this will help, but at "The Pits" web site, they had
a Cyrix tsr that supposedly brings the cyrix into closer compliance
with Pentiums.  check it out and let us know if it works
