The first release won't.......
But I read somewhere that Microprose is working on a diskette with
Network suppport..

I know for sure that the game will NOT support network play. It will
future the multi-player modes we know from F1GP (Modem/null-modem and
multiple players on the same machine).

MicroProse says that there will be a subsequent version of the game
that will support network play (no dates given).

From what I've heard and read, it will only be playable by modem.
However, I think there has been some vagueness as to whether there
will be a networkable version a bit later, just like the modem version
appeared later for F1GP.

...as far as I know not initially, just modem a-la F1GP.

Plans to release an upgrade at the end of the year that will include network
play I believe.
