SODA and sound problem.

I just downloaded the DEMO and I get no sound in the menu's, I didn't think
there WAS sound in the menu's...

Christopher

p.s. I was marginally impressed with the demo.  I think a game like this is
probably a heck of a lot better with a force-feedback joystick/wheel.

Quick question.  When I run SODA in full-screen mode, audio works in all
the menu's, but as soon as I start a race (as the 'camera' zoomes down
to the truck) the audio either completely goes away, or starts a strange
'crackle' sound.  This does not appear to be a problem in 'windowed'
mode.

I have no other problems with sound with any software on the computer.

Has anyone come across this probem besides me?

Stick with it, SODA really is one hell of a sim and really rewards the
effort put into it. I also thought SODA was only in the 'marginally
impressive' category until I saw the top times and put in the effort to
try and match them <g>

Richard

This brings up a point I've been wanting to ask..  Are there any .vcr
file archives I can get to?

I just got the game a few days ago, and I'm looking for pointers on
good lines and such.

Thanks,
Mark

Haven't seen any. If I get round to it then I'll stick some up on a web
page. No promises though <g>

The AI are pretty good and it is worth trying out the lines they take.

Cheers,
Richard

Be sure to check out the SODA Strategy Guide that's out there now.
It's published by Prima (www.primapublishing.com). It's great for
driving tips and such, and has tons more.
