Changing tactic during F12002 (EA) race?

Game: EA F12002

If I have scheduled for example two stops (60lap race, stops after 20 and
40laps), and then due to the loss of wing or
weather change I have to pit earlier (for example 3-4 laps earlier than
scheduled), how I can inform the team to
put more fuel (or wet tyres), instead of chosen choices at the start of
race? Any way to override the choices during the
race? Or even more deeper...can you put your team to adjust your wing
settings (as in real life they nowadays do)?

Thanks for any further clarifications!

Change your steering wheel LCD display mode (enter key is default) to the
pit settings and use the arrows on your keyboard to scroll the options and
change the values. Change from that screen before you pit or your pit crew
won't start the work.

i have 4 buttons on my wheel,  one to change the led screens the next to
scroll down the options on each screen and the bottom two assigned to
increase or decrease.    One thing to keep in mind.   I haven't dug into
this enough, but if you want to use hard tires you must practice some with
them.  otherwise it will default to soft tires(and the rain tires) only.
So it is in your best interest to load up both a hard tire and soft tire
setup during practice.

Unless you're using 4x wear, or are overcooking your tire temps, I
wouldn't waste my time with hard tires.  Seems to me you can run softs
for an entire race if you really wanted, there's so little tire wear.

I've got the LCD assigned to a button on my wheel, I can prepare far easier
for a F1C pitstop than I can a N2003 which requires multiple F key presses,
arrows and space bar.

I'm screwed.  I only have 2 buttons on my wheel, and they're used for gear
change.  So, I get to reach over/around the wheel and futz with the keyboard.
Joy...

No, I can still fight with the AI cars(well, at least Minardi, Arrows, and
Toyota).  I only have the strength set to 75%. :-)
