EA F12002-Stuttering Resolved?

by Paul Jage » Mon, 02 Sep 2002 16:51:09

Just bought EAs F12002, but I seem to be suffering from the same problem
that others have complained about; occasional stuttering when receiving
messages from pit crew. I wondered whether anyone had happened to resolve
this issue.

I have tried the following; changing sound card/graphic card drivers,
altering colour depth and graphic resolution, changing in-game sound
settings, playing around with hardware acceleration levels of the sound
card, altering the settings in the *plr file (ie. number of simultaneous
sounds) but nothing helps.

I have an Athlon 2200 with a Geforce 4 4600 graphics card, 512mb ram and
Sonic Fury
sound card.

Any help appreciated.

I had a brutal time with this game until I wiped my hard drive clean of any
trace of my old video drivers. Reinstalled the latest drivers and voila,
smooth gameplay.
BTW I have an ATI Radeon 64DDR
