I want to use my car set up, from the training section, in the single race
section. However, when I save the set up it does not reappear in the main
race set up section. What am I doing wrong?
Any help appreciated.

Are you driving the GP car in training or one of the trainers? If you
save a setup for one of the trainers, it won't appear in the menu for a
race.

Each car model and class has it's own setup.  You're most likely
saving a setup in one of the trainers, which will be unavailable to
the full race's GP car.
