Yes you will and right now it supports the RIVA chip as used in the STB

Trevor, forgive my ignorance, but does this mean that the
sim would run badly or not at all (performance, not
graphics) without 3D, or that non-3D folks would simply not
get the most out of the graphics?  Thanks in advance.

Mike, I think that it would depend a lot on the speed of the CPU but
there is no way you are going to see any kind of decent perf without a
RIVA based 3D card, NHRA is very graphic and the game engine is very
demanding.

Actually, there is a way to get *much* better performance out of it -
get a "real" 3D video card like a Voodoo or Voodoo2 based card.
