Hi all..after waiting all this time I bring home this new piece of software
and it won't run. Once I hit the track I get a flickering and with in 3
seconds I lock up for good. BS! Like stated here before retail software
should not be this hard. My system:

Using 12.00 drivers with gf3

Motherboard      Asus K7V, KX133, 5PCI, 0ISA, AGP 4X, ATA66

Athlon CPU       AMD Athlon 800MHz, 3DNOW, 512Kcache

CPU Cooler       CPU cooler/heatsink for Pentium II/Athlon CPU's

768MB SDRAM 768Megabyte SDRAM, 7 ns, PC133, CAS 2 -133MHz

ATX Midtower    3- 5?" & 5- 3?" (2 open) bays, 300 Watt PS, 2 extra fans

Hard Drive         Maxtor 30.7GB Diamondmax Plus 40 9ms 7200RPM ATA66 2M

Floppy Drive      TEAC 1.44mb 3?" Drive

Video Card        Visiontek GF3

CD-ROM           Toshiba 48X Speed, Internal, Caddyless, 78ms, UDMA/2

Sound Card       Creative Labs Soundblaster Live! - Value

Make sure desktop is at 16bit colour before running. Open the
config.ini in the F12001 folder and change the WINDOWEDMODE=0
to WINDOWEDMODE=1 Run the 3D Setup before running the game and have it
analyze your system. Not sure if you did all that already or not.

I use 12.90 drivers with a GF2 and have no problems in F12001.
