GP2 Steering HELP!!!!

by Michael Mendui » Sat, 21 Sep 1996 04:00:00

Hi, I was recently racing around Monaco in GP2(33% distance semi-pro
level) when strange things started happening. I was driving along and
suddenly the car wouldn't steer anymore, instead I would head straight
into the wall. I recovered and kept on racing but it kept happening
about once every 2 laps at different parts of the track. I tried
restarting the game but it still kept happening. Does anyone know what
is causing this? Is something terribly wrong with my setup?? Are my
tires dead? Has anyone else has this happen to them??

Thanks in advance,

Mike M

Are you using the keyboard?  If you are, then what I found myself doing
everyonce and a while was dragging my fingers on both the left and right
steering keys, just for a split second.  This would cause the car to not
turn either way and I would harpoon off the track.  Just something to
look for.

Or he could have been braking inadvertantly.
