Disable Steering Help in GP2?

I was wondering how to disable steering help in GP2? I am using keyboard control and want to
drive without the help. I heard that you can actually drive 1 or 2 secs faster without steering
help. Is that true?

Someone implemented a utility to do this.  Go check out some of the
GP2 pages.

Here is one:  http://www.edu.lahti.fi/~masayard/gp2/

Steering help on/off is in the Controller Menu.
Turn it off and you'll gain 1 or 2 seconds a lap, later,

I'm afraid you can't disable the steering help with the keyboard control.

Here is what you should be looking for.  I have been unable to find it
on any Websites.  So, I'll e-mail it to you.

Hmm.

Not for keyboard drivers. If you want to get rid of it you'll have to use
a joystick or wheel.

These can be found at http://www.utu.fi/~snurmela/gp2util.html

I must say I'm surprised to see how much demand there is for this
keyboard driving stuff... I have added a new program to allow
changing sensitivity settings and toggle keyboard to analog
(sic). Don't know if they will have any effect on game play, I'm
using stick and home-made pedals for driving.

If someone would like to link my page to a major GP2 page, please
do (but let me know).
