GP2: I Hate Steering Help

Hi,

Whenever I am following close behind a car and then trying to turn out
to overtake, the steering help helps me to turn even more. This cause my
car to steer outside of the track and may cause a spin. Is there any way
to avoid this frustrating problem in GP2?

>Turn of Steering Help.

Then it's next to impossible to control your car unless you have a
wheel.  ICR2 certainly has the advantage in this area.

Try experimenting with the "low sensitivity" and "reduce with speed"
settings - if these are pretty high, the control is a lot smoother
(but not quite as responsive).

There are some _very_ good joystick drivers out there.

Cheers,
Richard

What do you mean by that? I don't have a wheel but a joystick and
I can control the car just fine. I think it's just a matter of adjusting
your steering lock and sensitivity zones to your liking. The original
poster didn't mention what steering device he uses, but the game is
very playable with a joystick without any driving helps ...
