In a word: Tacky

The car graphics look incomplete. Graphics overall remind me of a DOS game
from 1986.
Tracks are not accurate (no hills rendered on tracks seen so far).

Joystick implemetation far too coarse/jerky. Cars do not convince, either
visually or in driving-feel.
Have EIDOS actually seen the competition?  Says clearly on the box:
"Tremendous Graphics and stunning lighng" -
er, I don't think so.

Two good points: Sounds are quite good, better than Monaco/F1 racing. Camera
views excellent.

But however sympathetically you look at this sim, it is dated before
release, unconvincing, and I would have thought unsalvageable by any patch.
In short, the blurb is almost dishonest and certainly misleading. Learn from
my mistake and leave this one on the shelves.

Well, I downloaded the demo, and cranked it up. I get sounds in the Menu but
no sounds once I'm racing.

Shame really, because going on what you say and what I thought of the game
it is true PANTS. What were the FIA thinking giving a licence to such crap.
I mean, just compare to GPL / SCGT and so on. I'm sorry, but I'm going NO
WHERE near a copy of that crap.
