I just had the strangest thing happen. I was running a 50% race at Road
America (Elkhart Lake). Hiro spun in trun 3, the yellow comes out.
Being the fuel issue that it is, I pitted along with several AI cars. I
finished my stop, pulled out (being careful not to break the pit speed
limit.) Didn't pass anyone in the pit that wasn't stopped. Exit pit
road, get a message to stay behing car #00. I stopped, car #00 passed
me (was behing me when I pitted.) Got another message to stay behind
car #3. So I stopped again, no one came. Got a message, One Lap till
Green. So I start moving. Catch up with the pace car which was all by
himself. Follow the pace car, he pulls into pit road. All of a sudden,
car #3 (Paul Tracy) comes flying up on me, pulls in front of me and
stops. Two or three more cars pass us, he starts moving & so do I. The
green flies, I cross start/finish and get black flagged. Anyone else
seen or heard of this? Is there a patch? Papyrus, HELP !?!?!?!?!?
