I think this problem has already been discussed, but I can't
remember the outcome...
I have just started my first championship using the yellow flags,
and have found that when a yellow comes out while racing at Atlanta
some cars pit when they should (during the caution laps!), but
sometimes some cars pit almost immediately AFTER the green flag is
displayed. This does not seem to happen after all the cautions, but
when it does occur it completely ruins the race as the cars that pit
after the caution lose 1-2 laps.
Does anyone know how to rectify this problem? I thought that the two
new patches from Sierra fixed this problem, but as I have both of
these patches installed, that doesn't seem to be the solution. I
didn't race any 'yellow flag' races before the patches were installed,
so I'm not sure if they made any difference on my machine.
In case this helps... There was a problem mentioned a few months
ago concerning the cars 'pretending' to pit, but pulling back onto the
racing line at the last minute... This does NOT happen on my machine.
I would be VERY grateful to anyone that is able to help me out, as I
have a championship saved halfway through Atlanta! :)
