Icr 2 yellow flag bug

I guess it must be a bug in icr2. I lead the race, the yellow flag
comes out, i got 10 gal. of fuel left and go in to the pit for a
refuling, during my pit 10 other ai cars enter the pit, pits in front
of me, im done with my stop, so i roll out of the pits and out on the
track, of course i pass the other ai`s standing in the pit, but
suddenly im told to " stay behind car nr. 8", i do, and find myself
in P.11.  This sucks papyrus!!! Fix it fast!!!

Is the following legal in real ICR:

I'm doing the pace lap in Australia (I don't think the track matters)
when all the cars are lined up side by side. The cars that are lined
up on the other side and qualified slower than I seem to just go
ahead of me at random. In another words, they don't stay behind
me. When the green flag drops, I'm actually starting a few positions
back.

Yes, it's legal.  In "real" IndyCar, as the cars race to the
start/finish line for the green flag, the race steward checks to see if
only the first row of the grid is lined up fairly evenly.  If it is, he'll
drop the green.

In the real world it is the starter's job to make sure that the cars are
lined up correctly before he (or she) drops the green flag.  Technically
the pace lap is a "yellow flag" lap and the same rules apply (no
passing).

Papyrus has not modelled this correctly.  It may just be a programming
nightmare.  It is also why they probably didn't include double file
re-starts in NASCAR.  However, just don't lag behind on the pace lap and
only 1 or 2 cars might get the jump on you.  BUT, until Papyrus's
programmers can come up with away to prevent the AI cars from stopping
on a dime (more like a flea) just before the green drops we're screwed.
I have had to turn off the pace lap option for this very reason.  It
just doesn't work.  Speaking of pace laps and yellow laps, does anyone
out there have a secret on how to keep the tire temps up?
