N2: INDY yellow flags

Has anyone managed to have all cars pit correctly under yellow on
the converted (ICR1) Indianapolis track?
When racing at this circuit in Nascar 2 I have found that there is
always at least one car that has problems pitting during a caution
period. The cars enter the pits, but then for some reason decide to
'abandon' their pit stop... through the pit wall! They get stuck
between the two walls that make up the pit wall, and after sliding the
length of the wall proceed to pass all the cars, including the pace
car, and then pit successfully. After exiting the pits correctly (in
the lead!!) they coast around the track waiting for the pace car,
which they slot in behind. Cool trick, aye!! :)
Sorry about the long-winded explanation, but I was hoping that
someone could tell me of a fix...
I realize that this is a converted track, but I thought (hoped?!)
that somebody may have found a 'work-around'.
  Thanks.

        Rob.
