MGPRS2 and Split-Axis

MGPRS2 and Split-Axis

After running GPL almost exclusively for months, I was in the mood for
some modern F1 action today, so fired up MGPRS2 again.

However, I'm suddenly having problems getting my TSW wheel to work with
it.

First of all, I'm using SPLIT-AXIS, (which works fine in GPL, so I don't
have a hardware problem).  In the configuration screen for MGPRS2, I
have tried setting the brake to "Axis 3 Up" and the accelerator to "Axis
Y Down".  This results in my brake pedal acting as the gas pedal and
vice-versa (but at least I get a response out of the pedals).

When I set the brake to "Axis Y Down" and the accelerator to "Axis 3
Up", the brake pedal works as it should, but the gas pedal only gets a
response from the sim, when I'm in neutral!  As soon as I put it into
gear (I'm using manual transmission), the gas pedal doesn't work.  The
car just moves forward at 2 mph (that's not a typo).  I can steer and
brake, but I can't accelerate.

I haven't tried it using the controllers as single axis, as I really
want to get it to work with split axis.  As I said previously, I have no
problems with split-axis in any other sims.

Could this be a problem with the pots?  I cleaned them with carburetor
cleaner awhile ago, when the gas pedal was "sticking" in GPL.  It
straightened out the performance in GPL, but could it have screwed up
MGPRS2?

Any help/suggestions/thoughts on resolving this would be greatly
appreciated.

MGPRS2 and Split-Axis

Hi, i have the Wingman Formula Force, here the settings i'm getting for both
game
using 3 axis:

GPL steering axis 0 <>
           brake axis 2>
              gaz axis 3>

MGPRS2  steering  left axis x for left and right axis x for right
                   brake  axe 4 up
                      gaz  ave 3 up

if you can get the same reading in GPL than me, you should get the same for
MGPRS2, hope this will help you a little.

Bye Coco
