First off, explain what you think split axis is. Second, where exactly did
you see this configuration for split axis. There typically is not a box to
check that allows split axis or not: you configure for split axis when you
set your brake and acceleration pedals. It's almost automatic, as long as
you have your controller in windows set properly.
In CMR3 I see no such thing-- the only way I can get the pedals to even work
is when I set my windows' configuration to "combined".
Tell us exactly what you did to get split axis.
Thanks,

PH,
Well, after extensive tweaking, I finally got everything to work. The
default values for deadzone and saturation definitely did not work for me.
Things shouldn't be this hard, and hopefully in the full release so much
tweaking just to get a wheel to work will not be necessary. I still don't
have the steering exactly the way I want it, but just a minor tweak here and
there will get me close and comfortable.
Sorry for the misunderstanding. And you are correct, I should've waited
before I blew a tire on the split axis. :)
