Well I have pretty much given up for now on getting my T2
to work through win95 with N2.  I got MTM yesterday and
my T2 works flawlessly in the game, so I know everything
is set up correctly.  It seems most people having problems
are using OSR2 of Win95, while I am using OSR1 (4.00.950a).
I just upgraded my video drivers and bios, hoping that by
some measure of randomness, it would fix the problem.
Here's a run down of my system, in case anyone else has
any suggestions:

Intel i430VX Mboard/Award Bios 4.51
Cyrix 686/166+ CPU
32MB EDO/512k Cache
Matrox Mystique 2mb/bios 1.4/drivers v341
Soundblaster 32PnP/ Thrust. T2 plugged in port(new T2)

I've tried everything from the control panel, like "no Joystick",
"custom", and everything in between.  I've cal.'d in DOS and
then tried in Win.  I tried a Y cable.  I've tried a game card.
I've tried praying really hard. I've done everything Sierra/Papyrus
and Thrustmaster suggested.
I know this is a continuation of the problem, but I wondered
if many people were missing the latest messages 'cause
they were so far down the thread of others.

Thanks,
Dave

How does Nascar 2 run with that Cyrix? Does the wheel work in DOS mode?
(shut down to DOS)

Here's another item which people experiencing the joystick problems when
running under WIN-95 might try.  Go to the multiplayer menu and set up a
valid comm port (either direct connect or modem connect) in the
configuration screens; then exit the program, start it again, and see if
that makes any difference locating joystick.

It's pretty much a stab in the dark, but who knows, maybe we'll get lucky.
If this works for anyone, I'd appreciate hearing about it.

Nascar 2 runs great in dos, smooth as can be. I haven't tried
running in Win95 due to my joystick/wheel problems.  Wheel
works fine in DOS.

If you have the lastest version of win95, version b your screwed because
you can not use a joystick with nascar2 within 95 you have to exit to dos
mode or true dos ,or get an earlyer version of win95.

It's true that for the majority of people it will not work, but not for
everyone.  My T1 works just fine in Nascar2 running through Win95 OSR2
(ver 4.00.950 B).

You know I have versionB and I have no problems running N2 under Win95.
Maybe my ACM has something to do with it but I doubt it!
