I have a problem with my setup: In my new system I have an AMD Athlon 800,
TNT2-ultra and a Soundblaster Live. Because GPL runs better in Glide than in
Opengl I decided to put my old V2 (12mb) card next to the TNT2. In my old
system (P2-450, TNT2, soundblaster live) this worked perfect.

Now I get a strange error: when I install the card win98 detects it and I
can install the drivers. I get no errors. But when I want to run the display
setting to make some adjustments (disable 3d3 for the voodoo2 etc) it says:
cannot find the monster3d II card, contact Diamond blah blah....

I use Dx7 and tried both the supplied drivers and the latest drivers for the
voodoo card. I also tried the refference drivers from 3dfx, but nothing
seems to work

Please help me!

I got Asus k7m, athlon 700, 128megs and a guillemot 3DFX2, works fine
except for a strange noise (see previous post)

Did you try to completely remove your card and all drivers and glide and
all that ***and reinstall it ?

When I got mine I had to fiddle a bit before having it run, but now it
rocks !!!
