I have a K6-2/300 on a VIA MVP3 MB(3x 100Mhz), 48MB RAM, and a Stealth II.
Sorry I don't have any suggestions, but you should get better...

I'm getting 25+fps average in 800x600 and 640x480 30+fps hotlapping.
Subtract about 5fps from those figures for average traffic or
multiplay. Of course there are times (like starts) when these figures
go ballistic in either direction (momentarily 12fps at starts, and
36fps alone on track in places).
Personally, I prefer the image quality of my Rendition 2100, and I
don't like the lack of anti-aliasing in the Voodoo. I also preferred
the old Rendition V1000 image quality in Quake (original) where it was
written to the Speedy 3D API. Admittedly whilst quite fast, it was no
match in speed for the Voodoo for sure. Surprisingly, the Rendition in
GPL (judging from the performance of the V2100 on a friends PC) is
just superior to it's Voodoo original contempory, and from what I'm
gauging from the posts here the 230MHz RAMDAC V2200 with 8MB and AGP
is faster than the Voodoo II as well as prettier.
It strongly depends on how many cars you are competing against. The AI
need a lot of CPU-power...

Definetely on my K6-II/300 with a 12 MB Voodoo-II. FPS with all grafics
on and 10 cars around 20-39.
Also, man mailt sich...

I am running a K6-2/300 on the ALI chipset (3x100, unable to 350), 128
MB PC100 SDRAM, V2/12MB.

Must be those damn ISDN drivers. Maybe I'm just picky, but I want
more than 20-25 fps in multiplay, because I have a hard time driving
the car like that when used to more frames offline. Since I work at
AMD, I do not want to put an Intel processor in my system (besides,
that is just more money) so I'm stuck for now. Guess I'll have to
wait for the K6-3 to get more clocks since I was unable to
successfully overclock my processor.
PS. The antialising lack for Voodoo is a GPL limitation, not a V2
limitation.
