Okay guys, what am I missing. I havent been on the N4 muliplayer in about a
month, went on this past wednesday and today (Sunday) and everytime I get into
a race I only get about 1 minute of practice in before being booted back to the
main chat room.

Any help would be apreciated.

all the updated patches

What's your ping like ? What network connection do you have ? If you
have a little bit unstable network connection you might get booted on
servers with a latency limit.

pings are generally excellent. 80-120. I have a cable connection that is
normally rock solid.

happened to me as well twice yesterday. Once, the server had obviously shut
down (it disappeared from the list). The other one I can't explain. AFAIR it
was from Sears at Guy Wilson's server, to whom I usually have rock solid
connects.

Michael,

The net does seem a bit flaky the last week maybe this
is the problem.

Get Ready guys. I don't know how long most of everybody here has been ***
online, but the hackers have already caused numerous problems with online
*** servers. Here are some examples that I have seen:

Won.net Nascar 3 league servers. guys modifying the air temp to 500 degrees,
someone racing the pace car, wreakers using a car skin switcher so no one
can take him out, wreakers re-entering race after being ejected, pole
position without even qualifying, pole position "Stealing", etc.

And if anybody has ever played on the old Mplayer servers and had an evening
ruined by "Silver Mod" hack, "Room Ghost", "Room Lock/Killer" etc.

Need For Speed High Stakes & Porsche Unleashed are breeding grounds for
these Jokers.

So get ready, If Papy clamps down on these idiots, it just ups the ladder
and challenge for them to get into the servers and cause havoc.

Just some of my observations of online ***.

Well, for whatever reason, it stopped when I released, then renewed my Linksys
ip address.
Oh hell, who knows why sometimes.
