Suggestions for NASCAR 2

Here are some of my suggestions on how to make NASCAR 2 better than the orginal.

        1. Give the pit wall some thiqueness.  It's hard to see at high speeds.
        2. Make a new option for the paintkit.  The ability to choose the color of the wheels would make the
cars look real hot.
        3. At Watkins Glen, add rumple strips where they belong and get rid of the stupid guardrail at the end
of the back-strait.  Remember they put in the inner-loop so that no more drivers would be killed at the end of
that strait, but sometimes if I go in there to hot...CRASH!!!!!!...another dead driver.

Just a few of my ideas...I would appriciate some support if anyone else agrees that these are good ideas.

I agree with the rumble strips and make the curbs bigger.  when i come of
the last turn i want to be able to swing the car out onto them instead
off onto grass.  as far as the inner loop they prob cant change because
of the track tools but they shouild just put a stop and go if you dont go
through the chicane.  i also dont think the turn coming out of the
chicane is accurate if im not mistaken does it not actually go down hill
more than the original game has it?

the wheel option is also a great idea i think it would make the cars look
better.

one other idea i seen on hawaii where they throw a yellow when someone
blows a motor how about adding smoke like gp2 has in it.....

As far as I know, they do not automatically throw a yellow when a car
blows a motor.  I blew mine at a race at Bristol, and no yellow came
out.

was yellows on?  so far in our season in our league everytime someone
blows a motor a yellow comes out.  maybe there was arcade damage on your
race?  dont know interesting though...

I'd have to agree with this suggestion.  Either that or have the very end of
it painted yellow or orange.

With perhaps a patch of oil to mark one's demise?

It seemed to be that way for awhile, where the yellow would come out every
time someone toasted a motor. But, I fried a motor at Bristol myself a
couple of weeks ago and no yellow.

jackass its an idea you dont have to flame me because i threw one out.  did you ever
play gp2?  i dont know about the rest of the people but i think its great to have
someone blow a motor and the smoke come out.  thats reality...oh i forgot you must be
one of those guys who plays with arcade damage on up on hawaii.....i did not write the
first 3 ideas i just commeneted on them im sure if you ask other people who have played
gp2 the smoke idea would be in favor for nascar.  this newsgroup is getting pathetic
when you cant even post a messege with out some one getting on your case....

I don't think anyone flamed you. I think the post was referring to
perhaps a blown oil line, the result of the blown engine?

I see your point, but if they do this, than everyone would cut through
the grass EVERY TIME for the sake of a faster lap.

The rules state that if you do go straight through the interloop, you
must back off and get back in line where you were before you reach the
start/finish line.  This could easily be monitor and enforced, however,
it would require that each track have it's own set of track rules;
something Papyrus is probably trying to stay away from.
