I'm completely new to online nascar.. why does the host have my car
number when sending messages to the racers? I have my personal car
but so does the host!?!
Ironically I find that my best pings are all on the passworded
servers, probably a coincedence.
Is there a site somewhere that is a repository for personal cars of
online racers, or is this usually a league thing? How does one go
about joining a league/team? ... still not sure what the difference
is.
Sorry to ask dumb questions but I've scoured many N3 sites for info
but nothing specific about the online experience has exposed itself

If you made a custom car and are using the default car name, t_player.car,
then the host will have your car as well, assuming the host is using the
default car as well.  My suggestion is to rename your custom car to
something else.  Then put the default car back into the game by copying the
file from the N3 CD.
