There is a MPH gauge in the***pit view.  Look at the one on the far right.
Also, to have the ai race at any time, make a pit stop...then the selection
board that comes up has a section where it says driver and if you change it,
it will say AI.  If left on AI the ai will take over until he needs to pit.

I just installed the all cars hack and the full grid hack.
Wow.. This sim rocks.. I think this sim is going to be the next big
thing. Smooth controls, great nose to nose racing.. Superior AI.. this
sim has it all. My top speed is 0:46.37 in the Porsche G1.
BTW, you can race a 12 hour race if you want, just go to options and
set the time to 60x12= 720 minutes.
Want to race an extended Endurance race? Set the laps up to 9999.
At 1 minute per lap that equals 9999 minutes or 166.65 hours or 6.9
days.. Woo wee.. talk about a Enduro Race.. :)

I do have a question though, after reading the review it says during
the long races, you can have the AI drive some of the race. When you
first start a practice lap you have the option of letting the AI
drive, which I tried and it did pretty good, but I am wondering if any
of you hackers that did the full car grid etc can enable the AI drive
option in the race. Once I enabled the AI to drive in practice, I
couldn't figure how to get the AI to stop driving the car though.

Pros:
Nice graphics even at 640x480
Smooth driving, feels "right"
AI acts real, will spin out and make mistakes just like you.
AI races, really, no more passing every car on the track in two laps,
these guys fight for position, and if you pass them, they dog your
***just waiting for a mistake.
Crash dynamics/physics are excellent..
Cars CAN flip... ;)
Sounds are really good.

Cons:
***pit is the same for all cars, no MPH gauge or steering wheel.
Also no virtual movement within the***pit.
Damage, Don't know if this will be added in the release, but right
now, do visible damage, the sim tells you have damage, and your car
will run worse, but no visible damage.
Need side mirrors.
Replay option doesn't seem to allow past 8 laps.

Wish List:
How about a paint option so we can paint our cars?
11 tracks sound good, but would love a track editor.

Overall in comparison:

Vs. GPL:
GPL has SCGT beat with damage situational awareness (SA)
GPL is harder to drive

Vs. TOCA 2:
SCGT has more competitive drivers, in TOCA 2 on regular setting (Not
novice, above that) when you pass a car they seem to "give up" and
zoom away in your mirror. I would like to see the SCGT AI in Toca 2
SCGT has Toca 2 beat in car "feel" as well. In Toca its easy to spin
and sometimes your left wondering "why" you spun. In SCGT you get
plenty of audio and visual feedback so when your about to spin you can
feel it and do the smart thing and back off.

Vs. NASCAR 99
No Comparison.. TOCA2, GPL, and SCGT are making me take NASCAR 99 off
the hard drive... Until NASCAR 3 that is ;)

Never thought I would love Circuit Races instead of Ovals.
You folks across the pond aint half bad <EG>

You do, in fact, have to wait for him to pit.  But there are strategies to
this is some championships require driver switches which I won't mention
;-).

ai cars it's incredible, total fun.Now if EA would get in gear and
release it!Give up on NasRev and promote SCGT and SBK.

Actually MGPRS2 doesn't even "legally" include Ferrari/Schumi because
of yet another licensing technicality.

Dave,

MGPRS2 does NOT deserve to have Ferrari/Schumi included in the game at all.
Its a pretty bad game. :)

Too bad both titles have no network play (outside of LAN in SCGT) worth a
damn.  And ISI doesn't official support the TCP/IP portion of SCGT over the
internet.

No, GPL is more realistic in cars that are harder to drive.

I disagree. I wasn't at all impressed with the demo, it didn't seem to
do anything particularly well.

They're Ok, nothing to write home about.

It's a bit too easy maybe, but otherwise not TOO bad.

That was a disappointment.

Other big con: FF implementation sucks.

Adam Zerlin & Clayton Brazil,

I've tried every possible way to install full grid hack - with no results.
Maybe I need more precise orders.
Could you tell me how there is now a file named as Your NameG04ZP00.svm in
the Save folder outside Your Name folder? Exactly same size than G04ZP00.svm
inside.
Did I mess something? And is Save folder right place for psrblt.dsd?

Thanks in advance

I will try to be as precise as I can.

1. Start from scratch.  So, make a new driver (call him joe), install the
all cars patch.
2. Once that is working good, (which i'm assuming you already had before, so
you can do it again) extract fullgrid.txt into "Saves\Joe".
3. Open the fullgrid.txt and edit these two lines under the career section:
[Career]
PlayerName="Fullgrid"
ProfilePath="SAVE\Your Name"
to
[Career]
PlayerName="Joe"
ProfilePath="SAVE\Joe"
4. After you do that, select Save As under File, and save it over the .plr
file in that same dir (would be joe.plr).  Click yes to overwrite.
5. Fire up scgt.  Whatever you do, do NOT go into the Race Options menu, you
can go into any other options menu, just not the one with race lenghts.   If
you enter it, you have to reinstall the fullgrid.txt.  (If you wanted to
change the race lenght, i'll tell you what to do at the below)

To change the race length:
1. You don't have to re-do steps 1 & 2.  Just do # 3 and then under [Game
Options] you will see (towards the middle, lines #9 and 10) One will be Race
Laps and the other will be Race Time.  Just change to what you want. (ex.
Race Laps=75)
2. Then do step # 4 and follow step #5.

That should work.  If not, or if you have another problem, e-mail me at

Hope this helped!!
