F1RS won't work with matrox milleniums ?

i have a matrox mill 1 and i think has probs with d3d (or its lack of
d3d) can anyone confirm this?

i couldn't get f1rs to work ... says something wrong with d3d at 16bit
color res.

Your Matorx Millenium is not a "3D card", just a very good 2D card.
F1RS needs a 3D card to run.

My suggestion is to get a Voodoo2 card (3Dfx chipset).  Diamond makes
one (Monster II), and so does Creative Labs (3D Blaster Voodoo2).

thanks for the reply ... that comfirms my assumption...

already got voodoo + ati with other comp .. matrox is in my old comp ...
just wondering if matrox mill 1 supports d3d .. i remember all of the
hype about 3d performance when i got it 3 years ago ... totally bullshit
adverstising .... direct draw is all it supports ...
2d performace is excellent tho :) still is ... :)
