Hello,

I am having huge problems with Matrox Millenium in combination with F1
Racing Simulation by Ubisoft. If anyone can help me out - it would be
greatly appreciated. Find details on my system configuration at
http://www.racesimcentral.net/
experiencing the same problems because I will post all the latest news
on that page.

possible solutions (please use as subject 'F1RS vs Millenium') or
something.

please let me know what you find out. i have a 4mb millenium and a 4mb
orchid righteous. ubisoft told me (cause the game wont work) to disable
my milleium when running F1. i dont have any idea how to disable my
milleium and still use the orchid for the game.and im not taking the
milleium out to run one game. not that the 3dfx card would work by itself
or any thing, but....

If you start the Voodoo version, it will use the Voodoo card. Only if
you use the D3D version, there could be a (hidden) default device be
used.

I dont understand your problem, I am running F1 Racing Simulation with
a 2Mb Matrox Millenium and a 4Mb Orchid Rightous, and everything works
fine......bar the problems Ubisoft know about (***replays etc).

Are you sure you've got the very latest drivers for both cards?

Steve,

Sorry, I must have missed the original post. I have a 4Mb Millenium with
OR3D and F1rs runs no problem. Installed I have:

Matrox Drivers 3.70
Glide 2.43
D3D Reference Drivers 2.13 (from 3Dfx)

Can't see any reason why you should need to 'disable' your Millenium to get
this thing working! What exactly happens when you try to install/run the
game (again my apologies for missing the original post).
