Griffin, the Slayer
I really must start racing with the Lotus, as thus far my best lap
times have been with the Eagle and Honda.

I found a German website that seems to be where the top drivers hang out
- the times are absolutely sensational!

When I was running 1:09's at the Glen, I couldn't have imagined 1:06's were
possible for my skill level and the fact that I was running the default
setup. I would notice that, when practicing, I would hit a stage where I
would "break through". 1:09,..... 1:09,... 1:07,.... 1:07,.... 1:06....
After a bunch of laps, I would find a vital key to improving my lap times
and it was remarkably consistent. Keep trying! Aim for consistency first,
speed second. The speed will come with being really consistent.

I drive the Eagle all the time now, and tend to use the default set-up for
hotlapping as its *very* stable (I drop the fuel to 5 laps, but thats
about it?) I have done a 1:06.84 using this set-up, and it *wasn't* a
realy good lap, there are a couple of errors which show up on the replay.
I reckon if I practised hard I might just get into the high 1:05's myself?
However, I think the current fastest for the Eagle is probably a low 1:05
(maybe even a low 1:04) laptime? The Fastest lap in *any* car is currently
in the 1:03's at the Glen.
8-) Keep practicing.....
