What are your best times now that the game is out I we can use our ows
setups.
My best so far is 1:06:47.

Hope there aren't people with 1:04:xx, because it would make me very sad.

1:07.84, in the Lotus, using an InterAct UltraRacer PC (don't laugh), and
have never tried the demo. Have the replay, with the car sideways half the
lap, especially in the Esses.

That's okay; somtimes I laugh when I see the mean arms of my computerized
self wrestling with the wheel through Parabolica, and look down at my
twitchy fingers playing with a radio-controlled-car-remote-lookalike. It
actually works okay for me, since I've gotten used to the one on my Nintendo
64 (hey, stop that laughing, now!)

There are a few phrases for those "GP2-is-better-than-F1RS,"
"GPL-sucks-because-it-won't-run-on-my-machine," "mine-is-longer-than-yours,"
"this-wheel-is-crap-because-I-don't-use-it" types...

To each, their own.
Whatever floats your boat.
It works for me; it may not work for you.

I think it can make a big difference if you can the setup for your own
driving style. In the demo the best I could do was 113's. Full version with
my own setup changes I am down to 109.74 or about 3 seconds. I noticed D.
Mansell improved about 1.5 seconds.

1:07.55, Lotus, minor setup changes, conservative-looking lap,

And I thought my 1:11:66 was a good time. I guess it's back to the trainer
for me.

Yep,I got just under 1:13 in the Repco-Brabham, slower in the BRM (very
heavy and dificult to slow down!) I have not tried the other cars yet.
