I sincerely apologize if the joke offended you or anyone else, as that
was never my intention. The internet is able to reach all the parts in
the world, and although there is a lot of globalization going on around
these days, luckily there is still so much diversity around. Therefore
one must be very careful in formulating his or her statetements in order
not to insult anyones religious/national/ethnical/ethical feelings,
especially when the message can literaly be read by anyone in the world
that has internet access.
The joke was actually a recycle of another old joke, but in my opinion
it fit perfectly into the current topics of this newsgroup. I wrote it
hastily and in a manner I would have told a joke to my friends. While
this style of communication would have been perfectly acceptable in the
circle of people I am with daily (my ex-girlfriend, who is as blonde as
it gets and by no means dumb, enjoyed this kind of jokes just as much as
anyone else), I do realize that there are a lot of people and places
that are much more PC sensitive. While I tend to believe that jokes
about stereotypes are a part of the popular culture and can, in fact,
help demistify certain taboos, I know this viewpoint is not shared by
many others.
I again apologize for being a bit inconsiderate.
Greetings,
Gregor
