R.A.S. N2002 Online Race Sunday (17th)?

If I rent a server for 6 hours on Sunday the 17th, who here at r.a.s. would
be interested in participating in an N2002 online race or two? It should be
released in Europe by then. There was some talk about doing this a couple of
weeks ago, and after dealing with pick up races since then I'd like
something a little better.

12pm to 6pm U.S. est. Time should work out ok for everyone except
Australians.

1st race: Daytona 100 laps, fixed setup (Papyrus fast setup).

2nd: Either Lowes, Dover, Atlanta, or maybe we can just put it up for a
vote. Again, fixed setup.

BTW, after re-reading my post, I didn't mean to sound so dismissive of
Australians. I simply can't think of a time that would accomodate everyone
(obviously impossible).

Count me in, although closer to a 1pm EST start would be good.  Maybe a
long practice session?  :-)

I was thinking an hour long practice session starting at 12pm est, and then
a race start of 1pm.

If I've managed to get hold of a copy - count me in.

Btw, fixed setup was/is a very good idea - as it will be fair for all -
almost regardless of how long one has had the sim....

My copy should arrive on the 15th, so if all goes well I'll be able to
join. The practice session is a good idea, since I haven't even
visited half of the tracks.. Sears and Bristol are just too much fun
:)

I would join in, but will be out of town this weekend. If y'all do those
again sometime later, I also would be glad to participate.

I'm usually game for something like this, but I will be in Nassau for
some R&R.

BTW, won't y'all be watching the Darlington race about then?  I hope I
can get Fox in the Bahamas, I should be fairly well sunburnt by then.

Btw, how many people can you host with your connection?
And you are going to -rent- a server? In that case we can all better
collect some money for Eldred so he can buy N2002 and host for us, his
servers were very stable for all the full GPL races we had..
