Yes, I thought of that, I have to figure out first at what time (in
Dutch time) the Nascar race is being held. That's why I didn't send in
my Mosport confirmation yet..

I'm renting the server from here http://www.extreme-servers.com/home.htm All
the details about the server are on this page.

Yep, we should all chip in and buy Eldred a copy in exchange for some race
hosting.

R.a.s. could have their own server 24 hours a day for $100 a month from that
site. 33 guys chip in $3 a month? Never happen, I know. :-)

No need to spend your own money - I could host a server.

I was given a copy of N2002 by a fellow competitor.  I'll allow him to remain
anonymous if he desires...<g>  Matter of fact, I brought it to work today.  :-)
If I can figure out the remote hosting(or someone tells me the easy way), David
can save his money.  BTW, where would you RENT a server, and how much would
that cost?
But the time that was mentioned wouldn't work to well for me - I'd just barely
be getting home at 1pm eastern... :(  I wouldn't have any objections to giving
someone else the startup info, though.

Are you sure? I need to make the payment on the rental tomorrow (Tues.).

Also, I noticed you said you might not be able to make a 1pm start. It's
fine with me if the start is moved back. I don't know about the others of
course.

OLR is not a bad deal, and they have great servers.
I don't even race much on it yet, but am a paying premium member for the
convenience.
The connection quality to their servers from what I have seen and heard is
very, very good.
Get several guys to join up on that, and you can have some great races.
Trouble is getting them to pay the 12 bucks a month.

I'm sure if you remind people in chat that some are recording the race, no
one will intentionally give an update.

Maybe Lowes or Dover? We could just take a vote and decide that way. I
picked Daytona since I thought we would end up with some nice drafting and
close racing there. It's not a really difficult track. Also, some of us
don't have a lot of experience at many of the others. We could even do
another SS like Talladega if the first race goes well.
