Don't forget, I only quit after an accident. I do everything to avoid
such an accident, and to be honest, in most cases, another driver is
the cause of the accident. Ever seen a first corner carnage? Did you
notice that almost all people hit Shift-R and floor it? To get 4 yards
further, so they can Shift-R again?
I don't think that is fun. After a Shift-R a race isn't pure anymore.
Suppose I am batling in the top 3, close racing all the way. And then
a backmarker shows up, ignoring his/her mirrors, taking me out. The
next situation is I am 10 seconds behind, with a full tank and cold
tires.
For me the race is over. Normally I never can get by the lead again,
and batling on cold tires with people on hot tires mostly ends in an
accident. So you have to let them go, if you don't want to take them
out. (You know, race like in real life)
Of course I understand it isn't fun for the host. And I regret that.
But the truth is, some drivers drive beyond their skill, and there is
the problem. I don't yell, I don't scream, I am "dead".
