I installed GPL but when trying to run it it complained about
missing DLL's glide2x.dll and redline.dll something like that.

I have an AMD athlon 1.3 and an ATI radeon Vivo 64Mbyte card, XP.

This error occurs when gpl is trying to run in the wrong rasterizer for your
vid card. Go into your app.ini and change the rasterizer line to

lastRasterizerDLL = rastd3d7.dll
this should be right for your card

You can get the d3d patch from http://www.papy.com/gpl/download.html if you
don't already have it. Check on your gpl CD. If it's on there, use that one
instead.
