After you did reinstall but before addons tracks and such did you try
running starting with a clean gpl? If it runs clean then start adding in
patches, then addon's and test between each new item. Might be worth try, I
had problem once with a track and had to start total clean, then built back
up extras, runs like a champ now. Good luck
