Does anyone know what will be fixed in the N2 patch? Also will there be
any expansion packs or feature upgrades (sunglare, anti-alaising, double
file restarts) for Nascar 2?

But then again I could be wrong.

The reason a date hasn't been given, is because Papyrus doesn't want to
set a date only to miss it - and then have people (such as yourself) flame
them to no end. They have indeed mentioned the problems to be addressed,
and have also said that instead of two patches, that there will be one
with
the major eye-sores fixed. I would rather get most items fixed in one,
than
having to wait for the next...
I don't understand why you think they're sitting on their collective
butts...be
patient, and the patches will get here when they get here.

Mr. B
I just spoke to Papyrus support last week and asked them about the save
game fix. They said they have NO plans for an update. Speaking from
experience (being in the software dev business), this is probably not the
most popular stance to take but it's the safest. By that I mean we have
quoted release dates and have missed them and had to suffer the user
*** mob for non-delivery.
Anyway, I can't say I agree with the policy (speaking as a user) but I
can understand it (speaking as an employee of a dev house).

Yep; been there, done that. Seriously though, software is not a 100%
predictable thing. And the unpredictability is almost all negative.
(Very rarely do I say "That will take me a month" and then finish it
in a day. Much more often I say "That will take a day" and then finish
it in close to a month...) So we don't withhold release dates of
patches to be coy, we do it because we don't want to give a mistaken
impression to our users, only to miss that date.

For the record I've talked with a programmer at Papy several times. His part
of "The Patch" is done. He stated that most is well and that there have been
some additions above the manual. Since he seems to be waiting he's looking
into adding some more stufffff. There will be even another patch for NRO, with
even some more fixes along with the code for NRO.
There's a patch, when it's released is the ?.
