GPL cpu patch and GEM+

by Jake Myer » Tue, 27 Apr 2004 07:44:34

After patching my gpl.exe with the fast cpu patch I am not able to use GEM+
to make changes for FD & FG classes. Am I missing something or is there
another program to use?

You must be missing something as GEM+ is, until the '65 mod and GEM+2 get
released, the only program capable of making an engine change once the CPU
patch is applied.

I'm not able to point you to the missing something though. Other then,
personally, I only installed GEM+ after I'd installed the fast CPU patch and
noticed GEM (GPL Engine Manager) didn't work anymore.

GEM+2 will be out at the end of this week with the 65 mod so you might
as well hang on till then.

GEM?

Woa, been unable to race GPL until last week some kind fellows on Winvrock,
helped me with a corrupt core.ini problem.  So is this utility letting you
guys run some ***y engines in different cars?  what does it do?

thanks, yeah I ll go search on it, but that stuff is monitored here at
work...  lol.
