OT/ Zone Alarm alerts

Just installed this software and I get alerts about every five minutes?  Is
this normal ?  Is it safe to set the security to medium.  Or is there
something in the advanced/suppress alerts that needs to be cut off?

Thanks

Normal, I got 59 so far this morning.  Click alerts and uncheck "show the
alert popup window" to get rid of them.

Yep, normal.  I get around 100-200 a day - mostly code red alerts though
there are some new ones popping up now with the new worm going around.  Just
do what the previous poster mentioned to get rid of the alert box....

Should you be one of the many online GPL players using this newsgroup (like
me), do be aware that ZoneAlarm causes havok with staying connected to
games.  Make sure you shut it down before you put your helmet on!  See you
on the track....     :-)

How do you know it's specifically Code Red?  Does ZA identify it for you?

The free ZA does not say "Code Red Hit" but its log will show hundreds of
attempts to access to port 80 which is code red's port of entry.

Maybe ZA Pro will tell you but I likely doubt it.
