F1 2002 problem

Hello

I got the game, french version, install it, everything ok, launch it for the
first time i have to set my video settings, then the small window with the
title comes in, then disappears and then I have a black screen with the
mouse cursor and the game won't load, the ctrl-alt-del is inactive, alt-tab
also, alt-f4, the windows key, I know the computer is still running in the
back but I have to hard reset it...

I have
XP pro
Athlon 1.7
256 DDR
Geforce 2 mx

 I have the same problem with AMD 1700+ Xp, 512 DDR, Geforce 2 TI 64Mb
and the Motherboard M830 PcChips (chipset SIS 735 with audio on
board).

With the game of Harry Potter (EA Games) i have a similar problem but
with the string "-nodsound" into the shorcut we worked well, i hope EA
support resolves this bug.
