Has anyone got this combination working ok..?

The F1 2002 screen asking for shiter up and down in configuration screen
renders the gearbox useless....how do i set up the shifter to use all 7
gears ingame please...?

Any help greatfully received.

are you  using the  ALShiftv22beta utility ?  Thats what you'll need
to get the shifter working in F12002/GTR2002. It works great for my
Act-Labs shifter...

I have d/l that utility but it isnt clear to me what to do with it as
regards F1 2002/GTR 2002....could you perhaps assist me a little please..?

you need to unzip the files into a folder, either on your desktop or
in the  C  drive.. Then double click and launch the alshftv.exe file,,
you'll need to go through the setup options, ie; max amout of gears
you want to use,, etc.. Then minimize this and launch GTR or F1. This
utility must be running when you intend to use the shifter..

Assign shift up and shift down to "a" and "z" respectively and use the
new shifter util. It works great for me.

I think that only works in Win2K/XP;  if you're using Win98 you have to
choose direct memory support in the AL utility.
