F1 2002 : Act labs shifter activation ?

Hello

I now have succeeded in activating the shifter for the F1C and mods but i'd
like to do so for the F1 2002 and mods, I have found in the plr file "use
act labs shifter" but it does not do anything in the games or mods (M3,
GTR, Alfa, BPr, 360....)

Could someone post here the detailed procedure ?

so far I'm using the alshift program and it runs, is there another (better)
way to do it ?

Use the Alshifter utility v.2.2 from Act-Labs.  Be sure to launch it and
configure it before launching any of the F1 2k2 mods.  It has to be running
in the background in order to use the shifter properly.  I'm using it w/o
any problems while driving: M3 Challenge, GTR 2k2, SCR...
